Kendall Ramseur is a recording artist, cellist, singer-songwriter and composer from Charlotte, North Carolina. His mission and passion is to create positive, inspiring, and heart-felt experiences through music. Kendall is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA). He studied cello with Dr. Brooks Whitehouse. While at UNCSA, he achieved various honors including: a radio debut on WDAV performing the first movement of Edouard Lalo’s Cello Concerto in D minor (2007), accompanied Ethan Stiefel principal dancer with the American Ballet Theatre (ABT) in Tchaikovsky’s Pas de Deux from “Swan Lake”(2008), a member of the 2008 Grammy Awards Orchestra, an Artist-in Residence with an affiliate of the Grammy Awards Orchestra, along with acceptance and participation in the “2010 Bernard Greenhouse Cello Festival” in Los Angeles(LA). While in LA, Kendall gave several cello recitals dedicated toward building unity and compassion for mankind through music.

The most memorable of these performances was the concert devoted to the earthquake victims of Haiti. However, Kendall’s most inspirational performance to date would be accepting the invitation of playing cello for Dr. Maya Angelou at her residence. He played his original composition “How Far I’ve Come” to commemorate her eightieth birthday, “It was a performance that lead to tears, and healing for the body and soul. A performance I will never forget!” says Kendall. Upon graduating UNCSA, Kendallmatriculated to Boston University’s College of Fine Arts (BU) where he received his Master’s of Music in Cello Performance with Marc Johnson, member of the Vermeer String Quartet.

Kendall received sponsorship for his first album of all original works. Kendall’s album"T.I.M.E." (Truths in Many Experiences) was released on Saturday, April 27th 2013.
